Here's the cinema problem

Here are some of the movies I've been wanting to see, American vs. Swedish première. Source: imdb.com

Swedish date first (USA in parenthesis). I've double checked Swedish dates with our national cinema company, only one was changed.

Sweden shows the movie first
  • 26 Oct 2012 (9 Nov 2012) Skyfall
  • 14 Nov 2012 (16 Nov 2012) Breaking dawn pt 2
  • 12 Dec 2012 (14 Dec 2012) Hobbit
  • 20 Nov* 2013 (22 Nov 2013) The hunger games 2
  • 13 Dec 2013 (13 Dec 2013) Hobbit 2
    * This date was changed, it says 22nd on imdb

Sweden is days behind

  • 15 March 2013 (8 March 2013) Oz - the great and the powerful
  • 17 May 2013 (10 May 2013) The great Gatsby

Sweden is month(s) behind
  • 21 Dec 2012 (21 Nov 2012) Life of Pi
  • --* (21 Sept / 12 Oct 2012) The perks of being a wallflower
  • 11 Jan 2013 (5 Oct 2012) Frankenweenie
  • 8 Feb 2013 (2 Nov 2012) Wreck-it-Ralph
  • 22 Feb 2013 (26 Oct 2012) Cloud Atlas
  • 27 Feb 2013 (25 Jan 2013) Hansel & Gretel witch hunters
    * It was claimed in January 2013 but it will come out directly on DVD 20th of Feb

I'm more ok with there being a day or so in difference but with for example Frankenweenie it's just absurd. It shouldn't take such a long time between the premières. I know there are companies in each country that buy the rights and they decide what to do and so on but I think there should be an easier way than that, specially in this global world.
